TDX10D4 + D5600.2? opinions? how much power can this take daily?

I would like a SQL setup for my TDX 10" and have decided on a D5600.2 amp to run it (600 watts x 1 @ 4ohms bridged, the subwoofer is dual 4ohm). Would the D5600.2 be a nice mate to this driver? How much power can this driver safely take daily (Ive heard they are very underrated)? I have heard the 15" driver of the same sub can take over 2000 daily (rms is 1k)

What tuning frequency should I choose and how large a box? I would like a wedge-type enclosure for the jetta, does anybody on the forums know how to design those? Internal Dimensions are 39" wide and 19-20" high.

Depth really isnt an issue, this will be backing up into the seats and is a very large trunk (those were the measurements at the narrowest point of the trunk). Mounting depth on the 10 is 7.5" and Im afraid if I went to deep the box would be FAR to large. I have no issues with the depth of the box, but I would like to retain my trunk (I cannot see the 10 needing more than 3 cubic feet ported to ~30hz - am I wrong?)

that would be the wrong amp for that sub..first off a D4 config would not get full power from that amp, youd' need a D2 to get 600w@4ohm and that sub easily would handle 1000+w - I would grab an amp that does 1000+w@2ohm for a D4 or a 1000+w @1ohm and buy a D2 config.

As for the box,1.25Cf ported is whats spec'd,or .70 sealed

I was saying I couldnt fathom this small of a sub needing more than 3 cubic feet if it was the largest possible box for the driver

The D5600.2 does 600 watts x 1 @ 4ohms bridged, why couldnt you run the 10D4 @ 4ohm?

I have a budget of 200-220 MAX for the amplifier for this subwoofer...would it be MUCH louder with 1k+ watts?

# RMS Output Power

150W x 2 @ 4 Ohm Stereo

300W x 2 @ 2 Ohm Stereo

600W x 1 Bridged @ 4 Ohms

# Freq Response: 10Hz-50KHz

# Signal-to-Noise Ratio: 102dB

# THD: 0.03%

# Channel Separation: 80dB

# Length: 17"

# Width: 12"

# Height: 2.75"

those are the specifications of the amplifier

2 and 8 are the only possible wiring configurations? ****it...I was under the impression you could run 1 @ 4ohms

good amp for your comps, not your sub....... you could look into a

D61000.1 or an eD 9.1

I understand that

I am selling this as a package to a friend for his Jetta for $500-525 with a custom made box (He cant spend anymore). I have budgeted $200 for the amplifier and need to stay within my means.

Are there any amplifiers that meet those requirements?

I guess theyre up for sale then if I cant meet their power recommendations (If I had dual 2ohm versions Id get lk 40% more power out of the amps)...anybody interested in a trade for a quality 1000-1200 watt amp for 1 of these?
