Just curious...how many Avalanches have you played with? What enlcosures were they in? How much power were you running? In car or in home?
Oh, and have you compared the Rl-p in the same car? With similar setups? What power were you running to those?

All the knowledge in the world of a driver doesn't allow you to stack them up against one another with such certainty if you haven't played with them both.

Wrong. It's definitely based on the 3HP. That's VERY evident if you actually look at the motor:

I am wondering what the coil config is. With the xmax level specified, I'm curious if it's just an 8 layer flatwound 3.4" long coil, which would yield about 34mm xmax.

Ascendant doesn't market, xbl this, xbl that either is what I'm getting to. I'll give you that it's become sort of a buzz word around here, but that has not come about because of ascendant at all, as they're quite new, it's come about due to the brahama and xxx....everybody praised them for a long time due to the motor technology.

In no way am I saying that it's the best out there, or defending that it should get the buzz, but it is...because of the xxx and brahama. Ascendant is a very new company, and the xbl^2 boner has been around a lot longer than they have.
