this is just up in the air. me thinking out loud.

TC SOUNDS R ACTUALLY LOOSING MONEY SELLING SOLELY TO DIY'ers. THEY WILL BENEFIT IN THE LONG RUN BUY GOING DEALER DIRECT.

it makes perfect sense. so be happy if they selling the rest of the ''car audio'' subs they have left under the tc sounds name. audiopulse is the new thing ...and to be honest it looks very promicing.

well Brandon, it makes perfect sense but they did that by trial and error. they raised their price and hoped for sales and dropped it. Let's see if Tc Sounds can do dealers and what price the subs will be after they get what they want which will problary be $400 dealer cost for a tc2000 then the dealer would have to make their money it's a $500 speaker after it reaches the consumer. But the fact they want $400 for a sub that cost problary cost less than $200 to build for a company makes no sense. and as a consumer why spend $400 on a 12 that there is no marketing for when i can call up fi audio and ge an 18 for that same price. direct to the consumer vs the middle man and the subs are not superior

these changes only happen when these big companies realized they can get subs of equal quality, of the same materials for a better price.

like i mentioned before.. I would expect that.. I said how they compare musically, not how loud it gets...Go reread what i said. As far as busting out a calculator and writing an essay about it, its not needed. TC needs to make more money...Selling drivers to a DI/forum market wont do it. If they can get dealers to buy the product at 400.00 more power to them ( I highly doubt that what it will be). They are a manufacturer, they can sell it for whatever they want. No one has to like it. If they can sell it and make money what do you care. If you dont like the price dont buy the product they produce..

good answer but i didn't point out any wrong things about the producats i simply pointed out the flaws in the way the company is ran, which lead to the stupid increase in price thinking that's the way to improve their profit. and for the prices there are far superior products
