1.4 cubic foot box gross, and then stick the sub and a full length 3" aero port in there and you should be good to go
Aeros' take up less space over a box with a slot port.since there isn't much difference in price, would there be much of a noticeable difference in sound between the 10"vs. 12"? Ive ran both in the past but not with comparable subs. I like the idea of building a slot tuned enclosure, but i will need plans. Is there advantages to aero port vs. slot port?
I was asking about the dayton titanic mk3, but i did wonder about the ho also. What is the big diff between the 2 other than power handling?oh my gee golly so much bullshit in one thread makes my head explode
the dayton HO is one if not the best sq sub under $200 it is 99% transparent and fast as hell. They tc, while still a good driver, sounds bloated and out of place compared to the HO. If you have ever had the opportunity to listen to a properly installed morel ultimo then that is what the HO sounds like. If you truly want sq get the dayton. If you want just sounds good then the tc will also work.
I really don't like ported boxes, I would much rather have a horn or tline but if all you can fit is a ported box it will still sound great IF you know how to build and design it around your car
and what ever you do, do not fall into the ''tc sounds=sq'' bullshit. They are not sq they are good sounding drivers that will get decently loud and respond low and play flat . IE home theater drivers
I've never personally touched the titanic, I did see you mentioned the HO and that is why I said that.I was asking about the dayton titanic mk3, but i did wonder about the ho also. What is the big diff between the 2 other than power handling?
