Hey guys I'm looking at getting a tc sounds epic 10 for my solid audio f11. Will this be OK to give that sub 1000rms? I'm looking for a budget system and was thinking a single 10 to save room. Its already tight as it is. Other sub choices are welcomed.

Most likely yes but it depends on the recommended size for ported. I was also looking at a skar or an sa but I figured the tc would have better sq and could also put out some power.

Don't do it. You will fry it. The most I'd put to this is 600-700 watts rms and thats all you'll really need to be honest. Its a 2" copper coil the power handling isn't all that great but the efficiency and absolute monstous low frequency output makes up for it so needless to say a good 600-700 watts rms will get it to full excursion. 1000 watts rms will cause that sub to bottom out I know from experience keep in mind this thing has only 1 8" soft spider so it moves with very little input power.

Yea don't worry about the power just make sure the sub isn't getting beat to death. If you go sealed you wont have to worry as much about over excursion so that's good. It will take a clean 1k just make sure you set the gains with a dmm
