TC-3000 or ID-Max 12 and what for power?

I narrowed my options to the ID-Max 12 or TC-3000. Which of those will give better SQL? I will also need a new amp to power one of those so what would be a good choice? I see Hifonics has a 1500 and 1600 watt unit are they decent? The Kickers in that range get a little pricey and the rest I don't know much about.

From what ive been reading at the forum... and what ive heard (the tc 3000) the idmax has less output than the tc3k. But at the same time it has little bit better accuracy. For an amp you would probably want something that does 1500+ watts @ 2 ohms for the TC. The hifonics would be alright for the ID if you watch your gains.
