best 4-5KW amp? suggestions?

i just picked up my ma HK4000d, but was wondering if there was anything that anyone would recommend... i came across the MA for really cheap, so i couldnt pass it up. I still have my Colossus, so i may still use it. havent decided yet. but im considering the incriminator 40.1, they autotek 4000, the DD Z1a, and maybe a strapped pair of AQ's new 2200's...

i would prefer one amp but AQ doesnt offer one that big yet. let me know what you think.

mm4000.1 is unbeatable for clean daily power over 3500

best big daily amp ive ever used....tried the colossus, hk4000d, 40.1, 20.1......

it did great on current draw and put out huge amounts of clean power..

I personally have heard he Stetsom 2k6(2600@2ohm) and was really impressed

A little bit lower than what you posted but a solid amp, esp if you have the $$

that amp only does 2000 watts at 1 ohm and you are looking for 4-5000 watts.

I was looking into the memphis 4000's but havent really seen much about them. If I got one I would only be able to use that one and would only have 4krms..

I need an amp that is around 4-5krms that can either be ran at .5 or 2 ohms daily. I had the HK but I just knew it was underrated and I would try and get to much out of it and clip the hell out of it,

I think I am going to use the z1a and try it at .5 ohms, I have heard one guy say not to and another say it would be ok...

I just dont think there are to many 2 channel amps with this kind of power.

you can strap the 4kws and with proper electrical can run it at .5 ohms.

the HKs are good amps but to get the power out of them you need some serious electrical. without out it you wont get 4000

im thinkin either the HK that i already picked up... 2 of the AQ 2200's strapped... or the Z1a.

been talking to DJ through email, and he's starting to sway me toward the AQ's... pretty cool sheeet.

I had one and I was fine... I do have the 250A alt though, and I was only running it at 4 ohms

I asked this question on another thread and didnt get an answer....

Ok the HK doesnt do its rated power at 2 ohm 3600 rms.. So lets say it does 3krms

The orion 2500D, say its underrated and also does 3krms.

The orion is more expensive, why should I buy the orion over the HK if I am being careful with the HK and not trying to get a million watts? I am thinking I messed up by selling my HK and trying to get a better name amp...

i like my 4000.1 but i have yet to find a cheaper way to make decently large power.
