I searched a bit and didnt find anything to help me. so...

I have a 92 taurus SHO, and the door panels are really flimsy, and ever scince i took them off the first time, they dont go back on right. I am finally getting some components for the front and i dont want them sounding like shit because of the doors. has anybody had specific experience with installing comps in a taurus? i was thinking of using the stock locations, but i might not want to now , because the stock locations arent that great. pics? hints? help?

First off, NICE bull. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/yumyum.gif.0556df42231b304b9c995aefd13928a8.gif

Now when I did my 95 GL I used the original spots for the speakers and to tell you the truth you cant really hear them. I used Polk audio coaxial’s, 150 watts each driven by a 2 ch cobalt orion 260 amp. The most probable reason the door panels are loose is because the little clips that hold them in have died from when you pulled the panels off. They are cheap and easy to replace, replace them and that should solve the problem.

P.S. are you a member of the TCCA

what do you mean you cant really hear them? cant hear a difference between that and kicks? i dont understand. and as for those cheap clips, do you know where i can find a few of those.

In my 92 Taurus GL, the fault is in the little tabs that hold the door in place. If the SHO is like the GL, all that holds the panel on is those clips and two screws. Either tap new spots for screws if you're going to be taking off the panels often, or get new clips.

Sorry I don’t exactly know where to get them but if you check out the TCCA web site http://www.tauruscarclub.com they might be able to help you.

They Should look something like this:

And this site also may help if they have the clips your looking for
