Why are LC1's garbage? Why has garbage lasted over a decade?

Just because its lasted doesn't mean its good. A Boss amp can last a decade.

I gave away 3 brand new in box. They aren't linear, have dead spots, and added distortion.

There was a big detailed review on all the knobs years ago that showed all this. The Scosche was the best and after swapping to them over the LC1s it was a night and day difference.

Bypass it? You can just unplug it... It's a clipping indicator as well. Pretty important.
