The mic doesn't need a list of character references or care about a competitors personality/business standard to meter, doing big #s & being a walking strokeoff is still doing big #s. Not saying any of the guys on the team are jagoffs simply stating that the way an individual carries himself has absolutely nothing to do with his/her personal scores. An employee could leave his job everyday worship Satan & drink his own pee but if he shows up at the job and gets tasks done and excels I don't see what the problem is. (obviously my opinion) On a personal note all the guys/gals on the team have always been standup with me. As far as a teammate's business practice I can't say bad nor good for everyone on the team, but this has absolutely nothing to do with the individual in the lanes. it seems to me most of the hate is either just a bandwagon effect or hatred for those on top. Give respect where respect is due instead of looking for things to bash an entire group about. Saying anyone on the team is dragging the team's name through the mud is ridiculous, I couldn't think of a better group of people I would want to be a part of! Well I haven't made it far in the thread yet so I'm sure this wont be my last post in the thread.

BUT mark being a part of team kicker is a walking advertisement for said ocmpany. he is not an employee whos outside life doesnt matter because even outside the lanes he is still wa wlaking advertisement. Plain and simple. Being sponsored is nothing like having a job and worshiping satan and drinking piss outside of work because outside of work knone knows you work there. but being part of team kicker its in his sig he flaunts it so yes his perosnal buisness practices on this site as well as any others where team kicker is in his sig makes a big difference.

well, if you looked at his site. The vids and the pics looks professional. I emailed him a few times about the box. He told me " it just needs a touchup". Fact of the matter is, it should of never gotten to me if it needed a touchup.

Belunt, Ill have to say youre wrong on his scores being the only thing that should matter to sponsors- if a company is sponsoring you, you have an obligation to them to do certain things.

It may not be right, but if one member of the team fvcks up, it IS going to reflect badly on the rest of you.

The rest of the team might be great guys, but the one problem will bring you all down.

Why dont you team members talk to him........tell him to give the option of a refund to anyone who is already supposed to have their box, and doesnt. If he doesnt have the money, certainly he could sell his rims or some equipment or something.

This whole problem would go away if he just took care of his customers.

I see where you are going with this but I don't think the worst TCAB box/install whatever could sway anyone from buying an L7 if that's the case that is goofy. I could see if someone with a bad track record (not saying Mark has or hasn't got one) was in charge of some type of Kicker's production department that this could be seen as poor choice on Kicker's part. But Mark is a dedicated competitor who will continue to put up massive numbers & stay a strong contendor, MECA's record/stats pages don't show any business practices/personality such as the internet wild fire of an individual's bad laundry.

First off...I have never been a TCAB customer or ever plan on being one. So take what I say for what its worth. I don't completely agree with what you said Belunt. The way Kicker is run is with the up most character and customer service. I doubt they want to be associated with a dead beat box builder whether his numbers are good or not. I guarantee that kicker will not fall to the ground if Mark Potts isnt on their team. Character is character, I know if I wasnt a competitor and was a spectator and I saw someone wearing a team kicker shirt acting like a total *** It probably wouldnt sway any decision I made about a purchase, but it sure would be in the back of my mind when I thought about how I would be treated when ordering from said company. IMHO Mark totally dropped the ball on this TCAB deal, he either needs to stop taking orders finish boxes that have been paid for and shut this whole fiascoe down, or take a serious vacation from the Particle board, and aero ports for a while.

Maybe he realizes it's the internet (which a lot of people need to realize) and that people make shit seem MUCH worse than it actually is because they can. People love to talk shit on the forums because they can without fear of getting their *** kicked or something.

Meet any of us in person and I doubt you'd be willing to talk as much shit to our faces. Not to say that you wouldn't or couldn't, but you'd see what kind of people we REALLY are, not what you read on a computer screen.

Once again, the situation with mark is just that, WITH MARK. If you have beef, take it up with him. I'm more than willing to give messages to him and try to get his *** in gear. I've done it on multiple occasions and mark actually stepped up and started taking some responsibility.

Everybody wants something for nothing, and they wanted it two days ago. Patience is a virtue. But I know that mark hasn't exactly been the most honest person when it comes to giving people dates for completion, and things are being done about that situation. This kind of stuff isn't going to happen overnight. So (i hate to say it) it is going to take some time to get all this shit sorted out.

What I meant by that (which you would have understood if you had any kind of comprehension skills) is that how a person acts on the internet rarely reflects how they are in person. If you come up to me and start talking shit for NO reason (which you have), all I'm going to do is call you an idiot to your face and walk away. Anything beyond that will be upon you to start.

Ask anybody who has met me in person and had some sort of conversation with me. I only say things back to people who REALLY deserve it. It takes a pretty good amount of bashing for me to get pissed off, i'm usually a very laid back and calm person. But for someone to continuously bash me, my friends, and my teammates without having done any business with any of us or met any of us beyond a keyboard and a computer screen, i'm of course going to be a little upset.

The person who waited 4 weeks got a timeframe from mark of 3-4 weeks. Thats why it wasn't AS BIG OF A DEAL. Not to say it isn't a tad inconvenient.

Why do you feel the need to post in every thread dealing with me, mark, TCAB, or my team? You don't know any of us and have had NO business through mark.

All you are doing is throwing in your 2 cents where it isn't wanted. Leave these threads to people who actually have a personal/monetary problem with mark.

1) If the situation is with Mark, stop jumping in to tell us he is stepping it up when there are multiple people without boxes and/or refunds.

2)Something for nothing two days ago? Wrong, I want a box that I paid for, and yes I wanted it 4 weeks ago as promised.

3)I don't give a fvck what changes he needs to make to improve his business, give my fvcking cash and then do whatever the fvck he wants.

I guarantee that if you stepped in and said "Man, this is fvcked up and needs to be taken care of ASAP. Refunds need to be issued and people need to be taken care of", your reception would have been more welcome. Unfortunately this is indicative of most of your team I have seen post in these threads. You guys pop in, continue the train of excuses on why and how things got to be this way, to give the guy a break b/c he stopped taking orders to get caught up, cut him some slack b/c he is struggling with his sexuality, or whatever. The guy has fvcked up and needs to rectify the situation. End of story.

For me its not even really about him being backed up and me having to wait a little longer for the box............ its the fact that he told me he would get started on it asap on may 17th you know what i mean, and he still hasnt even started! Its not a big deal anymore i honestly just want the box done or my refund i just need something so i can get this show on the road. Thank you for your help so far tommy i really do appreciate it and i know this isnt your job, it sucks all this is coming back to you and your team.
