I just got a 99 tahoe.. it has 6.5s in the front door, nothing in rear doors and 4x10s in the back.. how are 4x10s? Should I try and put 6x9s back there or if i got aftermarket 4x10s it would be enuff? Im not doing a crazy system but the 4x10s just dont seem practical to me.. thanks.. if anyone has done something wit the rear speakers in there burban/tahoe id love to hear it...

Rear fill is the suxor in Tahoes. My 2dr sounded horrible when I added in some rearfill. No matter how it was faded, Eq'd, whatever. I scrapped the whole idea.

Plus it doesnt help that the stupid speakers are mounted in the headliner behind you.

I used 5 x 7 plates for my rear fill. Just enough, can barely hear them in the front seat. Everything esle seemed worthless. I did 6 x 9s and that sounded like ***, because they were "trying" to produce some midbass. Bad idea. Use plates and you will be golden.
