Tahoe debadging holes?

I have a 2001 tahoe and i am thinking about take off all the emblems but i dont want their to be holes under any of them, anyone thats done it to a tahoe know if my tahoe would have holes under the badges? And wats good stuff to get the glue off?

They should just be glued on.........

Just peel one off and if there are holes then put it back on, I did that with my T-Bird, you can get the same double sided tape they use at home-depot, I just got some 3M stuff and my emblem hasnt moved.

I pulled all the emblems off the back of the vic. the lx on the left, the civic on the right were just glued. but the honda emblem in the middle had holes, so i put it back on w/ super glue in the holes. Hasn't moved.

take a heat gun or blow dryer, heat til the emblem moves a lil bit, then take fishing wires and run it behind the emblem. it will then come off. use goo gone to take the rest off. shouldnt be any holes. my buddies 02 tahoe didnt have holes

There are no holes behind any emblems on that vehicle. Trust me.

Paint that nasty *** chrome black.

well i starting take badge on drivers door off and there was a outline of the emblem so i used wax didnt work,,, detailer didnt wor,,,k goo gone didnt work ,so now i have to buy a new emblem or get some tape to make it stick caz the emblem sticking up a little on edge. Anyone know if they make chrome ones?

Take WD-40 and your fingernail and peel off the outline, thats what I did on my buddies Silverado. Then after some waxing you couldnt tell there was ever an emblem there, your can paint the emblem if you wanted, and get some double sided 3M tape to put it back on, I picked some up at Home-Depot the last time I got it. Clean the surfaces good before using it though.

Is it just leftover residue?

Scrape it off with a razor or a screwdriver, then goo gone will get the rest off.

Well i got the driver side off using goo gone to get the foam off but i ran out so i going to buy some more to do other side tommorow. Theres it little outline where emblem use to be not really noticable though. thanks for everyones replies.

You must have your car in the direct sunlight alot.

Try some meguiars color x. It will help the shadow in the paint.
