Im looking to buy a Table saw. Just a basic one, to cut 2x4 sheets of plywood and MDF for HT enclosures. Im a Little tight on cash, and work at Sears, so I get 10% off. As I dont know much about table saws, would this be a sufficient saw for my needs? I just want something capable of making straight cuts, because trying that with a danm jigsaw is a pain in the ***.

how do you like it? I always hear people at work bad mouthing craftsman.

we always used a bosch table saw.. lots of power and a stable fence...

I was looking at them at home depot. The only thing stopping me from buyin one is being poor and getting associate discount on craftsman.

I was thinking about getting this one...and has plenty of room for medium cuts. Leave the extra large cuts to the guys at HD or Lowes.
