Im looking to buy a Table saw. Just a basic one, to cut 2x4 sheets of plywood and MDF for HT enclosures. Im a Little tight on cash, and work at Sears, so I get 10% off. And I was looking at this table saw:

http://www.sears.com/sr/javasr/product.do?cat=Bench+Power+Tools&pid=00921802000&vertical=TOOL&subcat=Table+Saws&BV_UseBVCookie=Yes

As I dont know much about table saws, would this be a sufficient saw for my needs? I just want something capable of making straight cuts, because trying that with a danm jigsaw is a pain in the ***.

Thanks.

the table saw isnt gonna make the straight cuts you are going to have to.... sounds like for what you want any sears or home depot $100 on sale saw will do...
I know im gonna have to make the straight cuts. I guess what i meant to say is, Im looking for something that'll make it easier. I bought a jig saw, and the rip guide for "straight cuts" was a peice of shit.

The table is a little small to be ripping 4'x8' sheets of anything. Might be a little dangerous, plus the motor is only 13 amps (1560W) which is a little weak.
Just my $.02
that went through my mind to.

Thats why id just use it to cut 2'x4' sheets
