Hooked up a t400-4 in my sons car with 2 R1's in a Fosgate box. Bass sounds great but I have questions.
He has an el-cheapo head unit that didnt have RCA out for audio, so I bought this "adapter/box" that takes both + - of right rear and both + - of left rear on one end as input and outputs them to RCA. From there I have RCA to the T400-4 and have it plugged into Rear (top) RCA inputs on the T400-4.
Since the Fosgate box only has 1 output on it, a + and -, I hooked it into the Rear on the T400-4 in the "bridged" mode on the amp. Is that correct?
I also have the amp in 2 channel mode.
when facing the amp to the left of the inputs are the front crossover/eq settings. I'm assuming none of that is in use since I have nothing plugged into the front so that means only the right side is in use eq/crossover wise.
Also, I'm assuming I set the pass to LP since thats the sub output? What do I set the freq hertz?
