See what happened was unfortunate and if it is true of what I hear, then I feel for ya, but there are better ways to deal with it than drama on forums.

And what I understand of what has happened is that TC came into some troubles and had to sell off and liquidate some things. A few companies picked up some toolings and patents as well as parts and such. Now that TC decided to make a come back, regrets were had of selling off those things and in trying to protect the product styling and designs that TC offers, TC is retracing and trying to get all that stuff back and/or trying to get all others to stop using the parts/toolings/patents that were purchased.

It stinks, and in a good mind set for the future, T3 will not be using that part in the near future. That still does not stop the other dozen or so companies using it or the other parts that were picked up. But that's not my business.

No payment was made, those parts are still in our possession. You went around TC Sounds directly to the vendor and ordered our parts for your product. You do not have a license agreement to use those parts. You ask I no bring drama to a forum, I ask you don't use our work to your benefit in bad faith and you do.
end of story.

Well thats not the info I have and I have notice of a partial tooling ownership. Anything beyond that is between JD and Thilo and they can discuss.

And like I said, one thing TC wants is others to stop using parts, so I am drawing up a new and unique basket design that will be tooled soon. Then we dont have to ever come to this again. We can move on to our own paths.

first problems was with FI/Crossfire after pat for the 15 and 18 was sold to them. a birdy told me if t3 sold new sub with that basket there was gonna be legal action. best thing to do would be for t3 to sell those baskets online to break even with there deal. they would sell quick and be out from behind this.

Seems like there is a lot of people armed with little information, trying to smear/wreck another company. Personally, no one has shown any proof here of anything, but Ed. So if any of the people bashing T3 are linked to TC, they are definitely not helping TC.

No, Mark Pyle is the son of the guy that started Pyle Audio and then sold it in the 80s. He was merely a glorified sales guy who turned out to be a nightmare and spread lies like that one. Johnathan has always and still does own T3.
