Is this a decent amp for this sub?

I want a simple setup to add to my trucks stock system for around 200$ for the amp and sub.

Im thinking 1 10" kicker 07CVR104. Dual 4ohm vc, 400watts rms, 800 peak

Id like to use a rockford p300-1 300watts x 1 @ 2ohms. Ive seen the birth sheets on this particular amp and its always above 400watts rms x1 @ 2ohms

What do you guys think?

Any opinions on their prime series vs punch?
