Its been a couple of years since it happend, and i've tried to find some threads concerning it but I can't seem to find the specific one. Apparently someone sent in their sub to T3 to get reconed and for some reason (if someone remembers please chime in) Demuth threw the customers subs away in the trash dumpster behind their building in atlanta. Then a thread was started about it, demuth got on here and was talkn' mad shit and acting like a 12 year old. Then Ed Lester runs to his side to protect him by offering the mods $50 to delete the thread. Many LULZ was had at T3/Demuth/Lester's expense and Demuth got banned....and I think Ed Lester still slithers around the fourm but keeps quiet - or maybe he's banned too. Supposedly this story happened in 2006/2007, before I even knew T3 existed. So I had Zero involvement.
I have since learned the truth of this story though.
A customer of T3 had their woofers stolen, being that only a few of those woofers were in circulation at that time, JD knew every person that had a woofer.
Then someone called JD saying that they had possession of the same woofers that were stolen from his customer. They would not say where they were from, they just wanted re-cones. JD told them the woofers were stolen and that he should send the woofers back to T3 and be done with any trouble. And that if he did not send them back, he may as well throw them away because he wouldnt receive any re-cones from T3 for stolen woofers.
Then that person started posting trash talk on here, and being the drama happy site this is, it blew up.
LoudMofo was a T3 supporter at the time and asked some mods to delete the untrue threads, acting on his own part.
I did not come on board until last year.
I represent on 3 other forums,
I try and stay away from this one because of immaturity.
And I am proud to say that T3 is still around and getting stronger than ever. Not involved with Pyle, that was just a sales guy that ran amuk and was fired.
We have a great new product line, upgraded and different than the old stuff, which was great as well.
I have taken an initiative to supply great customer service, honor, friendliness, knowledge, and great products.
The T600 is a great mid level woofer. It is very efficient and strong. It's a 2.5" coil with a motor based from the old TS series. Has a paper cone with poly front cap. Very good SQ/SPL ratio.
