T3 Audio T400?

Anybody have any experience with the T400? They are going for real cheap online since T3 went out of business, and curious if they would be comparable to something like a Kicker CVR, which is a killer sub for the price. The CVRs are around $68 shipped for the older model, but the T3s are a good bit cheaper, just over half the price.

So anybody ever use/hear them? If so, is it a decent sub for cheap?

I have heard of a couple problems w/ spiders, but its total hearsay, and probably can't be trusted. I've definitely consider going for it, but i really don't need more audio... haha

Yeah that's what I've seen on here too. People bitching about their soft parts.... Also said they sounded good too though.

Well I dont expect problems with the soft parts on a 400w sub. Its not like they are beefed up to handle any sort of real power anyway.

A local here has a few and I'm designing an enclosure for them as we speak. I should have him the full design tomorrow. As soon as he has that built and playing I will let you know.

whole reason T3 closed there doors they had almost 100% returns and they didnt wanna fix. they had good r&d and customer service lol...

They are decent, but for the price they are wonderful

At that price point what are your alternatives? Maybe some hifonics hfi's ? Pyramid or Legacy? Hell in that price range the Lanzar Max is a hell of a sub . I've had tens and twelves of the lanzars and they both surprised the hell out of me and held rated power. I've heard the 8's are decent as well. All in all though the T3's can't be that bad for 48 bucks a piece.
