T mobile data plan

So I currently have verizon, but to get a smart phone I have to buy some bs $80 a month data plan which is way too much. But T mobile apparently has a $30 a month plan with unlimited text and data, 5 gb up to 4g speed

So does anyone has this plan and is there any gimmick to it? why is it such a good deal?? Also I was thinking of getting he LG L9 phone which seems to have a big screen and decent specs, any1 have this phone and what do you think of it???

I have used a mytouch 4g with that plan for about six months now. Its legit. Fast internet, 5 gigs of 4g, ...only 100 minutes but I hate talking on the phone anyways. Just make sure you're in a 4g supported area. The t mobile website will let you know if you are.

Don't know anything about the phone. Look used for a good deal.I bought mine here for $80. That was a win, lol.

I know T-Mobile ***** in my area still running 3g and can't get good signal unless ur within 10 miles of there 1 tower in my city..look into the straight talk thru Walmart I know a lot of peeps very happy with that unlimited talk text and data for $45 a month...

This^^^ I bought a straight talk phone for my GF 2 years ago and we love their service. She gets better service than I do with Verizon. Once my contract is up im going to buy a sprint Iphone( sim card) and buy a straight talk sim card and run an Iphone for $45 a month unlimited.

Sprint is garbage where I am.. No consistent 4g (Sprints HQ is here) crap tastic customer service. I have verizon.. Its expensive but its bad ***.

AFAIK all sprint phones run on the cdma network meaning they don't take sim cards, sim cards are for phones that run on gsm networks (att and tmobile)

I do not even get 3G in my area where all ALL the other carriers get 4G or better. I hate TMobile with a passion. And we got screwed on our contract so it will cost me $600 to cancel.

i did the same thing you talking about, was pissed at verizion's prices so i switched to tmobile. worst decision ever, never get good coverage and half the time my phone(s) wont call or send text even when they have 3g.. only reason i switched is cuz i thought at&t was going to buy tmobile out and figured they would get better over time. instead tmobile buys out metro pcs and service has only gotten worse.... but i have heard if you are in a big city they are okay..
