T-Line or 1/4 wave For 6.5'" ELEMENTAL DESIGNS SUBS Help needed or a design maybe

I am trying my first attempt at a T Line and have basic info down to find out port length and port area. However I have not been able to figure out if they need extra space or a special way to mount them or cabin gain. So if anyone can kind of give me some info or already has had success with a design please let me know as I would like to build one correctly.

Give them just enough room to mount them and start your line as soon as you can outside of the mounting area, or invert them. Or even better do a 2 or 2.5/1 taper and that would give you plenty of depth to mount. From what I have read there many advantages of a taper design. Let me know how this goes because I am dying to try a t-line with those little bad boys.
