you could cut a hole in the firewall and route a 12 gauge through the opening for the hu, install it, and then tie a cable from a pulley on the trigger to the back of the hu.

i mean, assuming the engine block doesn't get in the way.

sorry to hear that happened.. i know how it feels.. my car was broken into last summer while i was building my system. thankfully i took out my $700 HU that night, but they stole my speakers, tools, and wiring =/

i am not trying to make fun of the OP but the first thing you get when deciding to install anything after market in your car is the alarm system if nothing else than for the 10% discount on insurance ......

lol. thank's guy's. you know i came up with a great idea. ive got a blown jbl gti in a box. it is fancy looking im sure it would catch a theif's eye. im gonna throw it in there with a homemade smoke and pepper spray rig. it will be tied to a trigger so that when they pull the sub out it will go every where...i tested it and it freaken killed my eye's. this will also set off my new alarm hahaha. they arent going to steal from me again lol

That's sucks man. I don't have much I've got a sosche RCA cable, came in one of their kits, and I think maybe a 60amp fuse with holder that I could send you if you wanted it.

mike, man this is the first post I read this Sunday morning. I feel for you man, nothing like the feeling of being robbed. You are always thinking who did this to me. Was it someone I know, or an opportunity thief. Either way they are scum scavenging bottom suckers. I too am a working family man who has to build his system after the main priority (my family) is provided for.
