system tuning help

ok so i finally got everything installed it sounds good but not what i want yet... first off can anyone help me set up the receiver? i know a lot of people have the same receiver and i dont understand the slope and all that crap on there which i am sure is 1/2 my problem i just want it to sound good... the subs out perform the mids and highs which i heard the germs can keep up... i am not good when it comes to tuning the amps either so that could also be the problem with the highs not hanging with the subs... and finally the 20.1 needs tuned too.. i guess i dont know where to put the low pass, the gain, the phase? and well everything i guess.. well any and all help i can get with this is appriciated... thanks in advance

i know you guys cant exactly tune mine over the internet... but i was just wondering what each thing on the reciever does or maybe tell me how you have yours set... also where should the gain be on the amp i heard not to turn it up to much cause it causes clipping... and also what is the phase thing on the amp didnt seem to do anything when i messed with it... and lastly where should my low pass on the amp be? thanks
