system tuning help

Hey everyone, need a hand trying to tune my set up. I am currently using a JLA 500/5 and a 300/4. The sub channel on the 500/5 drives a 10w6ae and I am using the front channel of the 300/4 to drive 2 8.1 micro subs. But I cant seem to get the mid bass covered. I thought by using front channel of the 300/4 I would be able to get to the correct freq but I guess I am doing something wrong. Could someone who is familiar with these amps give me a hand figuring this one out?
