system trouble

hey guys i recently blew my 100amp anl fuse and got it replaced with a 150 amp fuse. I have noticed the bass isnt quite as loud and it hits the notes kind of funny and mellow and unnatural (especially on the song "duffle bag boy") i have a 13w7 hooked up to a 1000.1 amp with stock alternator and batt. The amp also gets really hot and my it seems like there is a stench in my car of burning rubber. Can anyone think of wat could be wrong? Do i need to upgrade my alt/battery/ big 3wires immediately?

what ohms r u running that amp at 1,2,4, ect . you might be over doing it . and never change afuse with a bigger size, you will burn somthing up. like your thin wire that your smelling. later your amp will give out.....lol

the w7 is 1.5 ohms i tihnk well why did the 100 amp blow in the first place do u think? also wat does the input sens. knob on the amp mean/do?

input sen.knob is the input gain control. it is used to match the output volts from your head unit,not to make the system louder...and ? is the exat model # of ur amp and spreaker?

that sub is a dual 1.5 ohm sub. do u have the pos& neg of both sides of it con. together??

im not sure i think only positive in positive and negative in negative
