I'm looking to upgrade the system in my 98 eclipse. Right now I'm on crappy wal-mart pioneer coaxials and stock HU. I want something that will get pretty loud (not competition loud, just everyday loud) without distorting. I was looking at this:

Pioneer AVH-P4400BH

Alpine Type R 6.5" coaxials

Alpine Type R 6x9 coaxials

Alpine PDX-4.100

My question is; is there anything as good/better that's cheaper? I'm not an alpine fan-boy or anything, just heard good reviews on the Type Rs... Suggestions please
