stealin it back is not a good idea either... Earning it back through the cops doing it for you... or beating the piss out of them and stealing it is the way to go. But just being sneaky and taking it is not bright. Remember, they know where you live, what you drive, seen you with kids and shit... They probably know more about you than what you know about them. That's not always good. I know they are stupid but you never know what kind of guys they are and what they are capable of doing. If you can beat the crap out of them yourself without a problem then go for it... if not, keep investigating and force the pigs to do some work.

I just got done talking to the cops. They said that the dispatcher remembered the car before the report was made. The cop told me that it was seen at McDonalds in the drive through. He said that the dispatcher remembered the car because she could feel thier stereo in her car. She did remember the county that the plates were registered to. So now i'm narrowed down to about 8 towns.

I was told that they are still looking and that if I do get a hold of a plate number, even if its 2 months later, that I can still call it in and they can check the trunk. Unfortunatly, they dont live in the same town as me. They did say a woman was driving and a male was in the passanger seat. When I was argueing with the guy, I didnt even take a single look at the driver.

Only solution that would produce a good outcome for the OP is for him to steal the woofers back. THe cops are gonna be useless in solving this cause any evidence that suggests that they stole it is circumstancial. The problem with stealing the woofers back is that the people are gonna know who stole their woofers and you would have to be careful as to not leave any evidence and to make sure the people didn't know it was stolen untill well after your gone. I feel bad for you man, getting personal items stolen **** big time. Usually it's you against the robber with no lawful way out.
