System Problem

When I plug the Red RCA in, there is constant bass. Won't shut off without turning the key. I can't turn it down and wont turn off when radio is off.

I reran wires, redid the Head unit

Not sure why this is happening. Happens to the subs and speakers..

Any ideas?

I have checked all head unit wires. I have tried 4 different sets of RCAs.

So it's not the RCA's themselves.

Have you checked all of the grounds again?

Probably the RCA's on the headunit man...

Have you used the amplifier before? Is it it's fault? - -- By looking at your statements, it's happening with your door speakers too, which isnt related to the amplifier. So disregard this one.

Lot of things that *could* be wrong.

i have the door speakers hooked up to an amp as well.

i have used the amp before.

should i try the ground loop?

im thinking about trying a noise suppressor.

try getting a rca to mini jack to try like an ipod plugged directly into the amp see if noise goes away if so then headunit is fault, if not then amplifier is fault

no noise at all when i hooked my ipod into the jack..

so i guess it is the head unit.

i also tried it with another pioneer head unit the other night... maybe i used a faulty pair of RCAs as well that night

no it sounds like you played with the rcas while the h.u had power.. if its a pioneer its pico fuse is now blown.. look under electrical there is a sticky on what to do..

wtf? you hook your remote line to the battery or something lol? what kind of bass is it? you sure it doesn't sound like your muffler coming through the sub.. or is it just pulsating?

ha nah i have the remote wire connected to the ACC wire on my head unit. always have.

the bass is pulsating.

Try a new ground, make sure it's sanded down and connected to chasis.

you have the remote from the amp or your h/u? or both?
