i dont know exactly what i want as of now, but i dont have TOO much money. i need a budget setup, so im thinkin the IDMAX, a single XXX 12, PowerAcoustic MOFO, or a D2 or Brahma set up. which do u guys think would be best. its an ext. cab truck.

pretty much all of those except for the poweracoustik. i'm still wondering why the hell you included the poweracoustik in with these subs.

because i have some reasonable things about them. and the image dynamics sub is called the IDMAX 12.

Technical Specifications for IDMAX 12

Power RMS

1000 Watts EIA, (1800 Watts Music Program)

Recommended enclosure

1.30 -1.52 cu.ft. sealed (1.8 – 2.50 cu.ft. vented @ 28Hz), Infinite baffle

Xmax (linear)

24.9 mm, (0.98 inch) one-way

Xsus (maximum)

3.5” peak to peak

Voice Coil

Dual 2 ohm or Dual 4 ohm configuration

Sensitivity 1W/1M

93.1 dB 50-150 Hz ground plane. No 88.4 dB

anyone have a price on this?

the IDMAX runs about $339 plus shipping from sounddomain. they are the only authorized online dealers. what kind of amp are you gonna use? if it would be that hifonics bx1500D you would really be overpowering it. unless you buy a 4 ohm sub and run that amp at 2 ohms but that would be silly to buy the amp and not use its full potential. since you said you had a pickup i would look into a brahma with the hifonics bx1500D. the brahma and the re xxx are very similar subs but the brahma requires less box volume than the xxx. the brahma i believe is only $20 more than the IDMAX.

yah i just took a look at the brahma, ive always liked them as well.....may go for it, may go for the magnum who knows, its a toss up and pick out of hat right? or should i push....4-6 re 8's //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

i only have money for the 12's or the 8's its 350 max on subs shipped. i kno i kno its a cheap way out, but do u think the 8's would be straight for output? i know it wont be like the brahma setup or whatever, but its a truck so who knows, its cheaper too //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif im prolly gunna be getting the RE Audio RE componants or or CL-62's, and this guy can get me some CDT coaxials series CL-6x, would this run any cancelation or will i get some good results? i may get the CDT comps.

you can get a 15" magnum for $350 shipped. the 12 is $300 shipped. all i'll say is you won't be dissapointed with the magnum //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/toast.gif.bc0657bf54b9ee653b6438524461341e.gif

i knowi prolly wouldnt....but whats more fun than sayin i have 6 8's by the way, does someone wanna tell me what ohm resistence i will have the 8's if i get them....i know two pair of three in parrallel and then the 2 groups in series will give me 2.67 i think atleast, what other combo is there.
