Just looking for recommendations on a pair of subs to put into my challenger. Let's say a 1k budget I will be keeping the factory head unit so a lc2i or similar would be needed. I listen to rap mainly and some rock. Would like sound quality of loudness but good clean hard hitting bass .

So many good options. How loud do you want it? Will you be keeping your stock stereo/speakers? If so, you may not want the sub to have too much output as it'll drown out the rest of the system.

Subs, pretty much pick anything at ssaudio.com. Also, stuff that's good that's not there: B2 audio, C2 audio, tantric sounds, crossfire, FI audio, FU audio...

You're gonna want to set a side a chunk of that $1k for a good custom box btw.

got $150 to spare!

As of now yes I will be running the factory speakers upfront. And would the 200 be for me to build my own box or to have someone to build it?

Someone will build you a really nice box, just make sure whoever does it - know what they're doing. @CSCStang has built up quite a rep on here as an awesome box builder. Also, a great guy. Very good pricing as well, though I'm not sure how much of that will be offset with shipping to Ohio. Worth a hollar.

What I'm hoping happens is that you get an awesome sub stage and will realize your stock speakers are lacking, then will be right back on here asking for advice to upgrade lol

thats for a custom box built and shipped to you, but the $200 is give or take. he's recently done a challenger box i think, or maybe charger idk but def hit him up. hell hook you up clean from simple box to the whole 9 with plexi and leds

So if I decide to get 2 sa- 12s and will the soundqubed amp be enough to power it. I'm not looking to max out the amp.

Those are 600w woofers? Would go with soundqubed 2200
