I got my first truck which is a reg cab ford ranger and im wanting to put a system in it. I have a lineout converter already on the truck, and my uncle said i could have a hifonics 400.2 amp. I have been looking at sony 6x8 speakers and seperate tweeters to install. For the subs i have looked at the audiobahn murdered series 10" subs. They are dual 4ohm voice coil and i would wire them down to 2ohm. Will these hit hard and be others be able to hear me when im riding around and is there a better sub for the $.Thanks in advance

1 sub wont work with that amp ,you'll need 2 also might wanna look at a pair of 8's or 10's .do you have a budget so i can recommend some subs for you to look at ?

Sorry i didnt put i am wanting 2 subs. I have also looked at the nvx subs. and i have around 500$ right now.

500$ can buy you a pretty decent system, but not a terribly loud one, which Hifonics 2 Channel is it that you have?

500 for everything. I just want a system that hits pretty hard and can be heard while im out cruising and such. Im pretty sure my uncle said its a zues.

4-3 way sony 6x8 speakers

Power acoustik Tweeters

Ground Shaker sub box

Cadence EQ 7 band

NVX 10in subs

4 gauge wiring kit with an extra fuse to put by the amp also. All of this is totaled up to 352$

the speakers are junk and so are the tweets,not sure about the amp kit or the subs ,but you do get what you pay for in the stuff.

American Bass - SQ5X7 $70 each

American Bass - SQ T1 $30

amp kit $50 true 4 gauge

clarion eq $70

American Bass - XO 1044 $70 each

all this is 440 plus shipping so 500 even ,but you still need the box .much better equipment to and you can use that amp for now ,but if you want it loud you'll need a custom ported box and bigger amp
