System Help

Alright guys, I need some help. I've found some kick ass subs for 99 bucks. Here's the specs:

10" 800watt (almost 1000) DVC Cast Aluminum Subwoofer "The German Concept" *800 Watt, 10" Dual Voice Coil Subwoofer *Efficiency: 88.6dB 1W/1M

*Cast Aluminum Basket

*Dual 4 Ohm Voice Coils for 2, 4 or 8ohm *operation

*Double Damper

*Protected/Shielded Tinsel Lead for Improved Excursion Ability

*Gold Push-Type Terminal Posts

I'm thinking of getting either two or three of these subs. Could someone tell me what amps I should get to power these and maybe even some advice on what kind of speakers I should get for the highs and mids.

Never heard of that brand. You can get some JL's for about the same price. You don't need to have that high of a watt ratting to sound good, or to get loud.

The "german concept" leads me to believe these subs are Volfenhag subs, which are NOT good. The frequency response and longevity are called into question. I beleive Zane compared them to Pyramid subwoofers. If I were you I would spend my 300 dollars elsewhere.

you could get to hx2 12" punch for about $300.
