system help-{noob}

i have always thought that from rear speakers usually more bass comes out... so wouldnt it be better if i get a nice 6 by 9's which give out pretty nice bass? or no 6 by 9's give bass?

6x9s do give out some bass, but they mess with the imaging. Are you getting a sub? If not, then get a couple of the 6x9 Tang Band subwoofers from Parts Express. They won't mess with the imaging at all because they are actually subwoofers and they can fit in your stock rear locations.

Two of these running off of an amp would be awesome bass considering you don't need any trunk space

Option 1. Since you already have a sub and amp.. use them. That Kicker 12" will likely have greater output than the Tang Bands. I say throw it in a smallish sealed box to save trunk space and use it!

I was under the impression that you did not want a sub in your trunk because you needed to use your trunk, that's why I suggested the 6x9 subs.

What amp do you have for your sub right now? You may be able to use it for the Tang Bands if you choose to go that route

i have a 12" kicker comp cvr.. not sure what year model it is but..here is the amp and the sub pic

.. as far as the amp for rainbows... dont wanna spend too much so. less than 200

I'm still sticking with my earlier recommendation of the Blau VA2200 amp. For the output it does and coming from an authorized dealer, the price makes it a smoking hot deal.

Be sure you understand how to properly set your gains when playing with that much power for the SLC's.
