Can you do just fronts?

I have an 07 Silverado and i want to put a Rainbow 2-way component system in it. I was looking at the Germanium 265.25 and the SLC 265. I listen to mainly alternative/rock and its very vocal if that helps any. I guess i have two questions here (kinda newb bare with me)...

1. Would it be worth it to spring for the Germaniums over the slc? How are the tweets in each?

2. From the way i understand it is i would need another set of woofers for the rears....would i need another set of tweeters too? How will it sound if i just set up the front with the Rainbows and leave the rears stock?

amp the front speakers and take out the rears

hey same question....i dunno weather to go for germs or SLC265's in my jeep....but either way juts ditch the real speakers
