System for my GF

well you said a system for your GF and then post a pretty hefty setup. My gf hates a lot of bass which is why I haven't bought her anything yet but I might for her birthday coming up. If I do get her a system I'm just gonna give her the SE I have laying around and run it sealed, that may be to much bass for her even then.

I really just wanna focus on giving her a clear front stage and an easy to use head unit. Just my thoughts though =x

budget would help alot.........a rl-p would be better for a chick i think........requires alot less power, gets loud and sounds awesome, less electrical upgrades also.

i'm thinking about getting two Type R's for my GF and running them sealed off the orion 1200D i have. anyone have any better sub suggestions? the amp is for sure i already got it for her.

Completely SQ, She went and bought the equipment, Had it installed by a shady installer in the begining , and then When i had the time I redid it like it is now, I think it looks pretty nice, It is a semi False Floor, The Subwoofers are in individual Sealed Boxes that are ~1.8 cubes. It gets decently loud, and i also Did a little sound deading.

same, my girl hates bass but loves the really low notes. SE would also be good for a female.

Well, true about running sealed. And SX's dont like to be sealed. Maybe an RL-p 12 with an orion 600d.

Man i will never do another system again for a girlfriend. I will have to married for years and completley trust her. Yes I did get burnt lol! I did an all memphis install in a 93 geo tracker. Was a pos. But I used to like to burn money. I put in 4 refrence 10" subs off 1000 Memphis refrence amp and a 300 refrence amp on her 4 61/2" memphis coxials. Sounded very good and got loud. I hardly ever sat in it becasue it was such a chicks ride. But she loved it and I thought I loved her. Well needless to say she still has it as I am out well over 1500 bucks! Oh well
