System for friends silverado

Alright my friend drives a chevy silverado (proly like 2003-2004) and he wants some subs for underneath the back seats..he has everything stock (its bose speakers, and stock headunit and he doesnt want to change that), he wants something that will hit hard ... so my question is what do u think i shud advise for him to get? hed need a box for under the cabs too..thanks

you have to go custom. nothing pre-fabed please. in that truck i have found that two 10"s works a little better than two 12"s given the amount of space. right now i have two treo ssi 10"s in a sealed box under the rear seat. a box in a truck is very tricky to get right too. under the seat there are very specific ways to do things. here check this out.

ic ic.. uh how do u think 2 alpine type r 10's wud sound?..the only thing is we have to find some1 to make him a box..

i think they will be too deep. even with my box setup like that, my seat is still raised up slightly, which he will have to do. just make spacers out of wood, paint them and put them under the seat bracket before putting the seat back on. i think you can do like 3/4" or 1" before you run out of bolt.
