Same encl -- about 2.6 net, tuned to 28.

Am I wasting my time? The more I look at them the more I realize the AP is probably about the same mediocre sounding sub as the Lanzar.

Seem about right?
n2 I can't believe your making a this or this thread. Your so much more knowledgeable about car audio than 98% of this forum. Responses will show this, as people already have disregarded your question and are posting whatever subs they feel.

I'm not a big fan of either sub, although I've never heard either personally, just don't like the companies. I would say your assumption is right though, based on nothing. What was the price on the audiopipe, I didn't see it in that link.

Knowing something about the hobby doesn't obligate me to pour hundreds or thousands of dollars into it. I've never spent a lot of money on equipment. The $370 I have in my amps is a lot to me. If I wanted to spend hundreds on a sub or two, I could. I just choose not to.

I don't know much about subs, and I'm definitely not afraid to admit it. Hell, the best sounding sub system I've ever run was a pair of Pyramid's (via Eminence) - which I still have in storage, and may end up going back to.

That Lanzar I'm using now has been a decent sub. It gets 700w from a Zed Opti and I've never noticed it stressing. Its audible range goes down to about 26-27, and sounds good in the 35-60hz area. That's a single 12, out of a trunk, and I paid $65 for two of them on ebay, like new. Seems like a great deal IMO.

I'm only trying out the AP because I got it for $60. The prices I've seen on it are 130-150.

I'd like to get a hold of some of the Optidrive subs, but I'm not going to spend $150 on one.

If people want to take the time out of their day to make douchebag remarks, then I guess that just makes them douchebags.
