Switching from a JBL 1200.1 to a Kicker ZX 1000.1 worth it?

Im trying to power 2 or 3 Pioneer Premier 3004spls, I want an amp on each speaker. Right now I have a JBL GTO 1201 but I'm thinking of swiching to Kicker ZX1000.1's, my question it, is it really worth it since I already have 1 JBL? I'll be running at 2ohms for each one so they'll put out about the same amount of power. What do you think?

Probably not.

But you should hear a difference goin to a ZX1500.1 at 2ohms.

why would you switch? amp puts out same power at same load? and they're both reputable brands.

I don't see the point either. What do you think you would gain by switching amps?
