Switching from 2 budget 15"s sealed to an SE 15" ported

Was wondering, what kind of increase or decrease in output would i see if i switched from 2 cheap 15s seeing around 300rms sealed, to an RE SE 15" Ported seeing double the power

A lot. I went from (4) AA Assassin 12s sealed (350w RMS) each off a Orion 1200d, to a single SS RL-p 15" in a ported box tuned low, off a Kicker 750.1 (around 900w).

The RL-p murdered the previous setup with lows and loudness. Got even better when I hooked up my RF to it, (which was doing over 1000w). First setup had more cone area, but the second setup had better subs, and a more efficient box design (ported vs sealed).

I honestly think you will see a noticeable difference.

Thats what i was looking for. I wont be adding more power or anything though, the SE would be seeing its RMS if i swapped them out. Im debating between selling it and getting new stuff, or just porting my current setup though. Tough decision. However ive got possible sales on all my equip and i wont lose money either way so idk yet

Those ma 15s ****, they do get loud with about 1100 watts ported.

One se ported will have greater sq and low end.

Yea they impressed me at first but im kinda getting tired with them, though they are decently loud given the price of them and the power im putting to them. I might port them but idk. How much of a diff would porting really make? If i port these im gonna have a pain in the *** box build to deal with because of the way my trunk is and itll have to be around 7 cubes //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif Right now i have almost 5 1/2 cubes but thats in a slanted face box. How would type R 12"s compare to the cheap 15s i have as far as low end response and such? Id much rather work with 12"s if i can get the same low end out of them.
