switch install

Hey guys,

im trying to hook up one of those neon tubs that you plug into your cig lighter to a switch so i can turn it on and off then i want. i can get it to turn on (got the ground to the ground and power to power) but the switch doesnt work, i flick it but the light stay on. how do i wire it up so it'll work. its a three prong switch. ground,power and acc.

By the sounds of it your switch has a led light on it you need to take the power wire to the power side and take the power wire off the tube and wire it to the acc side of the switch and then just ground the ground side
