Swiss Audio is owned by Audiobahn if that tells you anything. Most of the stuff I have seen from them is sub par.

For the money I'd much rather go Profile.

While true they're a bit optimistic on their output stats they're considerably more reliable.

thank you for all you comments.....i will take that into consideration.....i have a LONG list of amps that i am looking at....i will be getting 2 amps (sub and doors) and i am very picky about stuff like this so i will be getting the 2 amps of the same brand.....here is the list if you recommend any of them....

I reccomend all of them except the swiss audios

The powerbass ones seem nice, had a 600.2 for quite a while, seems to have done well. Alpine,kicker and the like all put out good stuff as well. As stated, all those are good amps minus the swiss audio, best bet is to match up power to amps, and get what you need to run the system.

Edit: Depending on your budget of course....

I have owned the swiss audio sdx2000c for over 2 years now. The amp is serious. I had a kicker 15l7d2 hooked up to my directed 1100d and it hit 145db on the meter.After i sold the 1100d to my friend i bought the sdx2000c and it was even louder! Sound quality was even a bit better. The kicker was getting killed by the amp, one day smoke was pouring out of the box for 15 min. then the voice coil siezed. Since then i have been running 3 12w3d4's off the amp (.7 ohm) with no problems except i can't see when i turn the alpine up past 17.

Looks to me like the SDX2000 uses the same board as the Alphasonik PMA1200-D

Some members on here run the Alphasonik with good results. Can't say anything from personal experience though.

I have the sdx2000a and its great. I know some MECA competitors with sdx2000c's and not only do the amps do more than rated power, but they are also very efficient

I'm glad to see others with these amps. I bought mine just for the hell of it and I will never get rid of it.
