Suprisingly, looking for comps

Hey. I've done some searching but I haven't really come up with anything..

I'm looking to upgrade my front stage a bit. I've got a premium sound system in my car with a stock amp, and the front stage is a 3-way setup (stock). They sound pretty good but the bass coming from them is horrible so I'm looking for a good component setup that will give some good bass (I'm sure any comp setup will have better bass than I do now to be honest). My budget is around $200, I might go up to $250 if it's worth it. I'm not opposed to a "DIY" type thing and buying the midbass, tweeter and crossover separately (to save some money I could probably even use the stock tweeter). I'm just looking for passive right now, but I will be going active eventually.

thanks for any help

Oh sorry, forgot to mention that I am in fact looking for a 2 way setup. I'll need a 6 1/2" midbass (or 6 3/4") and the tweeter I believe is 1/2".
