Stop using winisd, it isn't God.winisd says sa-10 1.5 cubes@32hz 950rms will get like 1db louder only at 32hz, otherwise its less than 1 db louder vs sa-12 1.75@32hz 600rms.
thats about all i can say as ive heard neither
your right i should have just saidStop using winisd, it isn't God.
with no evidence, just my opinion.the 10" should be a lil louder more than 50% more power and only a lil smaller on cone area. alot of it reflects on eff of ur sub enclosure well most of it dose infact.
In an SUV, ported & tuned, either:
SA-10 @ 2ohm @ 950rms or SA-12 @ 4ohm @ 600rms
Discuss.
Mine is a dual 2ohm, I'm feeding it 700+ RMS @ 4ohm. (PPI Art A600.2) So I'm all set. lolHe has an SA 12 already. Im wondering why he cant run his SA 12 @ 2 ohm and have the best of both worlds.
First of all, this is a car audio forum. Which means this is a place to discuss car audio. Follow?Quit being so facking lazy and do the math yourself.
Ill sell you my Dual 2 SA-12. You could find a 2 channel and bridge it @ 4 ohm for 200. I bet it would be pretty cheap for a 2 channel.Mine is a dual 2ohm, I'm feeding it 700+ RMS @ 4ohm. (PPI Art A600.2) So I'm all set. lol
Anyway, I'm trying to throw something together for my little brother, as a high school graduation gift. '07 Chevy Trail Blazer--He already has an active 3-way CDT front stage powered by a JL 300/4 & 300/2, 1/0 big 3 & power wire.... I was gonna use an Audiopipe AP10001D or AP15001D. Now that I've remeasured, the 1500 is too big. So it's gonna be the 1000, which is:
300 @ 4ohm
700 @ 2ohm
1k @ 1ohm
Don't really want to set him up running 1ohm....So at 700 RMS how big of a difference is there in the SA-10 & SA-12? I know they cost practically the same, but I'm trying to save him as much space as possible.
