hmmmm... well seeing that im being told 4 cubes and 6 cubes, i may just shoot for the middle. with it being in a blazer i do sub up, port back because its a proven design lol. Yea since im running quite a bit of power for 1 sub i need to keep it kinda small for better control...Yea my box design would be perfect for you. sub up port back. But like rabbit said i like my lows so i guess my design wouldnt be perfect for you. But I got it if you want it. And for the 6 cubes I am not using as much power as you and Iv used alot of 18s and i just cant understand putting that big of a woofer in that small of box. I know thats what they call for but I dont ever go exactly what they recommend. The zv3 can handle a 6 cube box all day weather its after displacement or not in my opinion.
i see. i know its, test, test and test some more. im just trying to figure out a good starting point as far a enclosure size goesFor his application and goals that is what looked to work the best for him. For you though it will likely be different. Even if it is the same volume I can tell you that the port design and tuning will be different for you since you are always chasing numbers.
even with the dd m2 on it the zv3 should still sound good. yes let me know how it turns out. My sub ships out tomorrow, so should be here about weds or thurs. but i have still have to work on the box before i figured out anything.Ill let everyone know what it sounds like in 6 cubes. Im interested to know if 5 would have been better. I finished the box today and it came out great. Will have everything done by next week for testing. I wish I had 3500 to work with but im exited to see how the dd m2b sounds. Might be posting it on here if i dont like it and get something else. We will see...
