Sundown Vs. Xenon

Again, I love my Sundown amps.

well i will be getting my sundown amp 2morrow .... i will see how it stacks up against myorion 1200d once i get it back from being fixed

wow alotta sundown lovers on here. The only reason i wanted to change out my nine. 1 is that it seems be drawing alota current. I did the big 3 and still get a small amount of dimming. If i upgrade to the xenon or sundown will this help. supposedly these 2 amps are efficent.

They are efficient...

But, there is no replacement for a solid electrical system... As long as you don't run them extremely low they are very forgiving amplifiers on the electrical.

either of those amps should be more efficient than the nine.1. But i'd go with the sundown purely for availability

Open up both the sundown and, and the xenon, you will see that the xenon uses higher quality parts through my observation. With that being said, it is not a very efficient amp, but it is more flexible as it can run full power from 1-4 ohms. As for reliability issues, their is none. Several years ago the xenons had a bad batch. If you are content on using an efficient amp, get the sundown.

I would think that the sundown would be a MUCH better option than the xenon...
but thats just me...

For competitions, and trying to have a loud system, yes it is better. Its efficient, where the xenon isn't so..
