sundown vs audioque

Already got the sd 1500d and was thinkin of getting a aq2200 for some more power, now would i see any difference from switchin from the sd to aq, would it b worth it? Or should i just stick wit the sundown?

should hear a difference with 700 more watts, i've had a saz1500 and loved it. It would be a tough choice

but the sundowns are underrated. give it 14.4 steady at 1 ohm (or below //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif)

im kinda looking at the same 2 amps right now. i wana power up 2 Fi ssds. i know with the aq2200 i would have to set my gain kinda low.

well i seen and heard the aq2200 the other day. and its a nice clean looking amp. i say it puts more then what it says out.

I've owned/ran both but never a swap out in the same setup. If I was starting from scratch I'd take the aq2200...but if I already had the sundown 1500 I'd just stick with that instead of picking up a new amp. all the tests I've seen the aq amps only make a couple hundred watts more than rated, so maybe 2500?

500 watts isn't that easy to tell a difference by ear...

500 to 1000 is doubling, yeah thats a big diff.

2000 to 2500 might not be an audible difference

audioque makes some nice shit, but id stick with the sundown. i say that because A)im a sundown fan, and B)you already have the sundown.

i agree with the fact that you might not notice a difference in output (at least to the ear) on ~500 watts. so it may be a waste of time and possibly even money to have to find a buyer for the sundown then pick up an AQ.
