Sundown Takes 1st at bass wars

alright well i just got my install in my crx finished today. and decided to show up at some small competition in danville illinois called bass wars or something like that. unfortunetly they are still using the audiocontrol. im running 2 Treo SSi 15s off a sundown 3000d with the gain turned all the way down. VERY BADASS might i add with the gain at 0.

there wasnt much competition there. well technically there was pretty much nobody that knew what they were doing it seemed like. but hey u'll have that. the crew running it didnt expect the score i put up //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif SUPRISE!

im VERY happy considering im only running 2 mid level 15s. should be a solid 150+ on the TL on music even with the gain turned all the way down.

my peak freq ended up being 48hz from what i found in the 1 minute of burps i got to do haha. it just got hooked up so things could change after testing and tuning. just very pleased for the little amount of power im running and the mid level subs too. sounds crystal clear as well. plays a large range of frequencies. tuning is around 35hz. very pleased. need a new alt though. the stock alt just isnt cutting it charging at 13.8v haha.

and whats funny is i was louder than everyone there by 3db so im happy. got the worlds smallest first place trophy though i think haha. and to think this car is going to be my wifes bassracer after i get my new van done

CRX should peak a bit higher than that

i truely dont know what mine peaks at right now. i mean i couldnt really test in the lanes. i just started at 45hz and went up. but my batteries would lose thier strength and i could never find the peak. so my 2nd run i did 47hz and did a 152.2 then did 48hz and did a 153.2. never tried 49hz since my batts were dead. one day ill sit down on the TL and figure it out. there is no sound deadening in the car either.

From what I've read they peak around 62-64Hz.
