There are tons of people running them at .5Ω daily, but I'm pretty sure Jacob no longer warranties them if being ran at .5Ω, so you may want to be sure you know what you're doing. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gifis it stable at .5 ohms? if so how much power does it put out at .5?

Oh wow, I had never actually seen the repair prices, but that's amazing. Haha, so cheap! That's great Jacob, just curious, is this warranty work done by you or is it done through dB-r?http://www.sundownaudio.com/warranty.html
"This warranty does not cover improper installation, accidental damage, misuse, abuse, improper wiring, operation of unit outside of listed specifications, or any product that has been modified or repaired by anyone other than Sundown Audio."
The good news:
"1) If your amplifier has a blown power supply or damage from excessive vibration there will be a charge for a warranty replacement within the 2-year policy:
* SAZ-1500D and smaller amplifiers (or any future model under 2000 watts) - $30 in the continental USA (AK and HI add $15)
* SAZ-2000D and SAZ-3000D (or any future model 2000 - 3000 watts) - $50 in the continental USA (AK and HI add $20)"
Generally a failure from 1/2 ohm operation blows the power supply... as long as you are in the 2-years and have the original invoice and the amp is in good physical condition it is pretty cheap to get it taken care of.
Notice the "gains" you get with dropping impedence. 105watts gain at .5ohm, is 105w worth the strain on the amp, the extra strain on the electical and the drop in effciency? 105watts will not be audible at all.
It's all in the warranty text.Oh wow, I had never actually seen the repair prices, but that's amazing. Haha, so cheap! That's great Jacob, just curious, is this warranty work done by you or is it done through dB-r?
