Sundown saz-1500 or Crescendo bc2000

At .5 I would upgrade alt at 1 ohm you might b ok. What vehicle and can u find out what the amp rating is on your alt?
I've been running my nendo 2000 at .5 ohms for over a year now wouldn't do it with stock alt it draws pretty good.as stated above should be ok a 1ohm with an extra battery

You can buy a stock replacement alt for the navigator (which will fit your expedition) at auto zone or napa that is 180 amp for like 140.00. Might think about upgrading . The good thing about expeditions is there are tons of aftermarket alts out there for reasonable money.

I found several 240 amp alts with a good warranty when i searched "ford expedition h/o alt" look around and see what you can find, just make sure you get a brand name alt with a warranty because you do not want to go down the "cheap h/o ebay alt" road you will not be happy. I know that nappa has a direct fit delco 180 amp alt for your expedition that is around 200$

If you have 700 to spend a good choice would be the sound cubed 2200 and a 180 amp delco alt. That would make a helluva difference. I have (or had) a 180 amp alt in my rodeo with just 3 yellow top batts (1 under the hood 2 in the back) and it would keep up with 3200 rms with no voltage issues.

I really do not understand sundowns price point on there 1500 they are like 489.00$ for only 1500 watts no doubt they are very good amps but in that price range it seems that every other quality amp manufacturer is giving you 2200 rms. not knocking sundown I own many of their products and have not been unhappy with any of them I just don't see the value in the 1500.
wanna bet sundowns amp does 2k+
