guys i want as much info on these subs ,pics and videos as well . thanks

i was thinking of geting one as cheap as i can just to mess around with and then work my way up to 4-8. i have 4 12s sealed i was thinkiing 2 of them tune to 32hz off of like 1000 rms. i have a box that is 4.5 cubic feet i can go up to 5 cubic feet if i do the subs up port back.

yea man im doing some looking around after i seen your subs lol. i had a night shade a few years back but never used it. i want to how many 8s i can do. would 4 in a box that is 4 cubic feet tune to 32hz about right or should it b around 3 cubic feet? there 130 new but i want just one for now.

SA-8 box size greatly depends on how much power you are running.

^ This. My 4 are gonna be in 2.5 because I am giving them each 600. I would go no bugger than 3-3.2 cubes for 4 no matter the power

I highly suggest 0.5 each for almost any power level based on more testing and field input from customers -- reliability is decreased on larger enclosures due to the potential for mechanical tinsel lead breakage from spider stretching.

i dont even have the power for my 12s but man those 8s look bad *** and from what i seen 1200 for a pair is not gona kill them.

Why are you asking him lol? Buy one if you want to. They are pretty darn impressive subs though. AFAIK they don't have any right now because the improved ones are coming in. I'd wait for those. Kind of wish I did.

i want a used one cheap lol. what they doiing 2 the new ones? i just want as much info as i can get on them, i get paid next thursday the 28th and i wana get one and build a box and go from there. i would hate to spend like 1000 and not like them.

Stronger spiders and surround. No one is going to be able to tell you if you will like them. They get loud and sound pretty good, but its all objective, you might not like what I or 1000 other people like

i seen the older ones u need to put some epoxy on the spider landing or some crap like that. how would i know wich ones i would have to do that to? what is a fair price for a used one in good working order?

You most likely will not find a used one for under 100. Any of the ones being sold now have the spider plates. You will have to ask particular sellers if they have the rings or not.
